BMV 712 Smart health tracker
The BMV-712 Smart tracker is a model of a highly accurate system for monitoring
the status of two independent batteries and integrated Bluetooth technology. Why
monitor battery operating conditions? For its longer life! Detailed monitoring
of the battery allows us to detect possible operating deficiencies with the
provision of quick correction to support a long battery life. Suitable for all
types of lead-acid batteries, including non-woven (AGM) and gel batteries.
Simple setting of the battery capacity (factory setting at 200 Ah).
Autodetection of voltage 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 120, 144 and 288 V. Regular
automatic calibration of the device for reliable reporting of measured data (can
also be done manually). The BMV 700H version is intended for systems with high
operating voltage (70 - 350 V DC), the BMV702 version is intended for monitoring
two accumulators or monitoring the temperature of the battery or xxx. The
tracker is also suitable for Li-on batteries. Product parameters: - current
voltage (V) of the battery - current current (A) that goes into (positive values
- charging) or out (negative values - discharging) from the battery - current
power (W) that goes into (positive values - charging) or out (negative values -
discharging) from the battery (multiple of voltage and current) - the total
amount of energy taken from the battery to power appliances in ampere-hours (Ah)
- current battery charge rate in percent - expected (sophisticatedly calculated)
length of time in hours until 50% battery discharge at a given energy
consumption Technical parameters: - supply voltage 6.5 - 95 V DC - power
consumption when the display is not backlit and the relay is off: 4 mA (12 V)
and 3 mA (24 V) - power consumption when the display is not backlit and the
relay is switched on: 15 mA (12 V) and 8 mA (24 V) - working voltage: 12, 24 and
48 V (autodetection) - maximum amount of current passing through the shunt: -500
to +500 A (discharging and charging the battery) - maximum deviation in voltage
reading ±0.01 A at voltage 0 ? 100 V - maximum deviation when reading current
±0.01 A with 500 A shunt - maximum deviation when reading the capacity ±0.1 Ah
for battery capacities 0 ? 100 Ah - maximum deviation when reading capacity ±1
Ah for battery capacities 100 ? 9999 Ah - maximum deviation when reading the
state of charge ±0.1% - maximum deviation when estimating the remaining time ±1
hour (in the range of 1-240 hours) - maximum deviation when reading power ±1 W
in the range from - 100 W to 1 kW - for total battery capacity of 20 - 9999 Ah -
working temperature range -20 to + 50 °C - circular diameter of the own tracker:
63 mm - square size of the cover of the own tracker: 69 x 69 mm - depth of own
tracker: 31 mm - switched relay: 60V/1 A maximum - weight of the tracker itself:
70 g - potty weight: 315 g - shunt connecting screws: M10 - material: plastic
The tracker stores selected historical data and achieved limit values: - the
deepest battery discharge achieved - rate of last discharge of the accumulator -
the number of completed discharge/charge cycles of the accumulator - average
value of battery discharge - the number of full battery discharges - the maximum
battery voltage reached - the minimum battery voltage reached - number of days
since the last full battery charge The BMV-700 tracker includes: - own tracker
with backlit digital display and controls - plastic tracker cover with
dimensions of 69 x 69 mm - shunt 500A/50mV designed for a maximum current of 500
A (it is installed on the negative battery cable) - 10 meter long communication
and power supply UTP cable RJ12 (connection of own tracker with shunt) - 2 meter
long installation cable with a fuse to connect to the positive cable. The
tracker performs sophisticated monitoring of supplied and withdrawn energy
together with taking into account the adjustable value of the Peukert exponent
(the greater the energy consumption, the relatively lower the amount of
available energy in the battery and vice versa) and battery efficiency to
estimate the current amount of energy (Ah) and battery charge rate (in
percentages). To correctly display the amount of available energy in the
battery, it is necessary that all energy entering and leaving the battery passes
through the shunt. The tracker itself can be integrated into the wall without
the need for access from behind (hidden screws). For currents greater than 500
A, a spare shunt designed for currents of 1000 and 2000 A can be supplied.
Shunts up to a maximum current of 9,999 A with a voltage range of 1 - 100 mV
(both adjustable) can be used for the tracker. The tracker has a switched relay.
It is activated/deactivated based on the measured battery level. The factory
setting is to turn on when the battery charge drops below 50% and turn off when
the charge reaches 90%. These values can be changed in the settings. It is also
possible to reverse the switching logic, i.e. by default the relay is switched
on, by default it is switched off. The relay can be used to switch on/off
devices such as an external alarm, power plant, etc. The tracker can be
connected to other devices. The possibility of connecting the tracker with a
large Color Control GX color display. To connect the BMV700 tracker with the
Color control GX display, it is necessary to purchase either a VE.Direct cable
or a VE.Direct-USB communication interface. Saved settings and measured
historical and limit data remain saved even when the power supply to the tracker
is interrupted. Visual and acoustic alarm for over or under voltage, when the
battery is charged or discharged. Possibility to switch an additional power
source such as a generator under defined conditions via a relay.
